Planning permission has been granted by Canterbury City Council under application numbers CA//13/00868 for the “demolition of existing building and construction of three and four storey development comprising of 2 three bedroom houses, 7 one and two bedroom apartments and one 50 square metre ground floor retail unit (use class A1 & A2) pedestrian and vehicular access, 5 parking spaces, cycle parking, bin storage and amenity space” and CA//13/00869 for a “conservation area consent for the demolition of existing building and construction of three and four storey development comprising 2 three bedroom houses, 8 one and two bedroom apartments and one 50 square metre ground floor retail unit (use classes A1 and A2) pedestrian and vehicular access, 5 parking spaces, cycle parking, bin storage and amenity space”.
