Opened in 1882 by the Great Northern Railway on the line from Nottingham (Victoria) and Colwick to Shirebrook, this station closed to passengers in 1931. The site was eventually redeveloped for a supermarket. View south east towards Butler's Hill and Nottingham. The tracks continued northwards underneath the road immediately to the left of the camera position, which has now all been filled in.
