Bulwell (Market) railway station and tram stop, Nottingham

Opened in 1848 by the Midland Railway on what is now the line from Nottingham to Worksop, this station closed to passengers in 1964 and completely in 1967. It had acquired the suffix 'Market' in 1952. It was reopened as a single platform named 'Bulwell' in 1994. View south towards Basford and Nottingham from a similar viewpoint to Image] some 53 years earlier. Bulwell tram stop to the right was opened in 2004 on the site of the former station building.
