Private hospital viewed across Harding Avenue near the corner of Almond Drive in early January 2016. The South Wales Argus reported in July 2014 that St Joseph's had been sold to an independent hospital provider as part of a £10 million deal. St Joseph's Hospital Limited completed the acquisition of St Joseph’s Hospital from The English Province of the Sisters of St Joseph of Annecy on July 11th 2014. The hospital had been run by the Sisters since 1946.
