Recently vacated by a farm shop (this end) and a national tyre retailer (far end) this building stands ripe for redevelopment. A local business called the Jubilee Garage built it in the 1950s, moving from a site in North Street which has recently re-acquired the name (it is a pub, not a filling station) (see Image). This site once had a small canopy and a row of petrol pumps where the cars are now parked. The tanks are still below the forecourt.
