Oval House, Harleyford Road

Built as a vicarage in 1794-95, much altered in the mid C19th. Tudor-Gothic porch. Grade II listed. According to the listing, it was the birthplace of Field Marshal Montgomery. For around fifty years it has been home to Ovalhouse, a theatre and "home to experimental, radical and overlooked artists".
