Cottages on Station Road

The cottages on the right date from the mid nineteenth century. They were originally part of the Friends School and were given to the school by Thomas Richardson. The mini island was built when the Friends School was converted into residential. The edge of the complex can be seen on the left. Some is new build blended in with the old school buildings. Dykes Lane (or Station Road) continues to the right. To the left is the new School Lane and the village centre is ahead along Station Road.
