Ancient Hedge on South Side of Enfield Road

There is a possibility that this land will be used for building. The field is often under water, even when there hasn't been much rain. Where will all the water go if it is built over? Local flooding perhaps? This ancient hedge is under threat. The hedge and ditch play a vital role in the ecology of this area, which is home to a number of birds and other wildlife. Here we are looking towards Oakwood.
