This brewery ceased brewing in 1919 when the business moved to form Home Ales in Arnold, the site here not allowing for expansion. The current owners moved to this site from South Yorkshire when the premises become vacant and have been ever since. Murphy and Sons are makers of chemicals of all sorts for the brewing industry.
