Having crossed the road, the walker must go down this alley to regain the canal towpath of the Thames and Severn Canal. Greenways was built in the 1970s on the site of Siddington Lower Lock; this house is the only one obstructing the whole of the 37 miles of the Cotswold Canals. Nothing can be seen of the lock or the bridge which carried the road across the canal below it. http://www.pikelock.co.uk/canal/t&scanal/siddington/siddington.html http://www.cotswoldcanals.com/pages/locks-bridges-structures/bridges-and-buildings.php https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thames_and_Severn_Canal
