Both the field on the slope in the foreground and that in the distance are open access and are bounded by the bridleway linking Warren Road to Ovingdean Road along the western ridge. Below to the right is Woodingdean Recreation Ground. The hedgerow in the distance separating the two open access fields marks the old Ovingdean-Rottingdean parish boundary.
