Three Grade-II listed properties (but four dwellings) on the north side of Washdyke Lane built for employees of Belton House. They are, from the nearest to the furthest: No.4 (a.k.a. Vine Cottage) dating from 1848 but with late C20th alterations, Nos. 5 & 6: two semi-detached houses dating from 1852 with late C20th alterations and finally No.7 (a.k.a. Sweetbriar Cottage) dating from 1850 with late C20 alterations. Ahead, at the closed end of this cul-de-sac, is a rural footpath that soon crosses the River Witham. Behind the photographer however, the lane forms a T junction with Main Street.
