This is the C18 farmhouse in the centre of the village. In former times, farms were common in the villages around here. After all, prior to the C19, they were all agricultural in origin. After the C18, farms moved away into the fields and the village farms ceased to be workings ones in most cases. Like this one, they became residential houses.
