Birchwood Road. This short parade of shops was probably built in the late 1950s or 1960s. Both convenience stores are open. The similarly aged Battle of Britain public house beyond the shops has been demolished and replaced by new housing. Christmas Day 11:58 GMT Overcast, drizzling, heavier rain forecast. 7°C wind Force 2-3 South.
