In the last few years the number of people (often whole families who have fallen on hard times) who urgently need food has rocketed and this overflowing box in the local supermarket is the result. The Dacoru Food Bank http://dacorum.foodbank.org.uk/ is locally administered by DENS http://www.dens.org.uk/ a charity who supports the homeless in the area. Several churches around Tring also have collection points, and there is a distribution point (limited hours) in Tring Parish Church, as well as the main distribution point in Hemel Hempstead.
