Opened in 1948 on the Central Line extension from Acton to West Ruislip, this replaced an earlier Northolt Halt (1907-1948) on the adjacent 'heavy rail' lines (extreme left), which had been just beyond the over-bridge. View south east towards Greenford and Acton. Like 55% of the London Underground network, this part is actually overground.
