It is a grade II listed building which dates from the 17th century but was altered in the early 19th century. The exterior walls are rendered and the roof is of slates. There are two storeys with a dogtooth cornice to the roof and the chimney stacks are offset and project at the left and right ends. The windows have two glazing bar sashes on each floor and there is a central glazed door with a bracketed cornice http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-178187-tewkesbury-house-eastry-kent#.VnhHesLnncc The top of Eastry Mill can be seen behind the house, while to its right is M W Auto-Electrics, which used to sell videos, according to the wording on the blind below the shop’s signage.
