Many British seaside resorts have some sort of a miniature railway to appeal to small boys and their fathers. I well remember myself delighting in the North Bay railway at Scarborough when on holiday there some 65 years ago. So I was pleased to find this one (by accident) when visiting Littlehampton with my own children in 1973.
