The warning notice is above a locked gate at the edge of Smallbrook Lane railway bridge. The gate gives authorised railway staff access to the Island Line southeast of the Smallbrook Lane bridge. There is another access gate http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4767623 on the opposite side of the bridge.
