This small gap site in High Buckholmside in Galashiels used to be home to some lock-up garages. The site had been open for some time until someone came along and decided to build a house, obviously without building and planning permission as the timber framed structure is built against two high retaining walls. The local authority has halted work and closed off the site to the public. Some shoring is evident at the roadside retaining wall.
