One of the six 'fen chapels' sanctioned by an Act of Parliament in 1812. This was built in 1819, probably to the designs of Jeptha Pacey. A close-up Image Grade II listed. Testament to a time when the area must have been buzzing with people and activity. At the time the building lay behind police tape and signs warning that it was unsafe.
