Standing on the bank of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal the sad sight of a grand old building left to die a slow lingering death. Old mills line the banks of this canal, places where men and women toiled long hours for little pay, built on their backs the north certainly was the powerhouse of England a century or so ago.
