While I was admiring the view, this lorry came down with a load of material for the new house being built just below. After several attempts to get round the hairpin bend, the driver had to admit defeat because the fully retracted supports at the rear were catching on the ground. He fetched the men who were working on the building and when I left, they were still discussing what to do. I suppose I should have waited to see how they unloaded the lorry, and how they got it turned round and back out again!
