Penfold type dating from the 1870s. See; http://www.postalheritage.org.uk/collections/pillarboxes/pillarboxes-penfold/ This one is interesting because it still has a covering flap. Don't try to post a large letter! Sadly neglected in a dull pinkish shade of faded red!
