The sign faces the exit from the Beaconsfield Club private car park. For motor vehicles, Meadow Place is a one-way street. Cyclists can travel in either direction. The cycle lane marked by the white arrow here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4753019 enables travel against the flow.
