... beneath Moss Lane bridge. To the right is the walkway to nearby Tesco's supermarket; to the left, above the bridge, can be seen what were, for many years, the Council Offices; the two left hand arches used to accommodate an extension of tracks from the Altrincham/Manchester electric train service (subsequently replaced by Metrolink); behind the trees were railway sidings, which, in turn, became a car park and then private, landscaped apartments.
