Currently home to Arka, a funeral directors. Between 1862 and 1903 this was a public house called the Comet, one of eight pubs that then lined the street between the station and Upper Gloucester Road, where there was another on the corner. Only three remain today; the Railway Bell, Grand Central and Evening Star; three were lost to the creation of Junction Road in the 1920s and 30s and the pub on the corner of Upper Gloucester road was also demolished for road widening.
