The three-storey house with the black front was once the Blacksmiths Arms public house which was open from the late 1850s until its closure in 1953. It was converted into a shop but is now a private dwelling though the shop front remains and is used to display artefacts from Anna's Museum. These items have been collected by Anna, still a school child, labelled then placed in the window. The museum is not open to the public but the shop front has proved very popular with those in the locality.
