The Odeon cinema on Renfield Street served Glasgow for over seventy years before closing in January 2006. The Category B Listed http://portal.historic-scotland.gov.uk/hes/web/f?p=PORTAL:DESIGNATION:::::DES:LB49233 fine Art Deco frontage by Verity and Beverley Architects appears to be under renovation. The auditorium, which played host to the Rolling Stones and the Beatles in the 1960s, was demolished and replaced with an office block in 2013-14. See the changing scene over the years.
