Number 96-97 is Ladbrokes, 98 the College Tailor - school uniform shop for Brighton College, and 99 is Marie Curie charity shop. A 19th century ghost sign for T Griffiths can be seen above what is now 98 but was numbered 96 in old street directories. Griffiths was an upholsterer, builder and undertaker who operated here during the 1870s.
