A small playground on the western slopes of Whitehawk Hill belonging to Hamilton Lodge School, set up in 1945 to exclusively educate the deaf. The playground is accessed across a public footpath that traverses the western side of the hill and was originally a set of allotments. Beyond is the Craven Vale estate.
