This bridleway comes up from A303 trunk road and through Stockton Wood, behind the camera, and here looking almost due north, it crosses Stockton Down at a height of 194m. Just by the trees, the bridleway intersects a restricted byway that crosses left to right. The bridleway then continues on a private road that goes down to the village of Stockton in the valley of the river Wylye about 2.5km away.
