Looking north, towards Pwllheli, from the Down platform. The northern ends of both platforms are currently disused, as trains on the Cambrian Coast line are usually much shorter than the platforms here. Harlech is one of only four intermediate stations on the Cambrian Coast line at which trains travelling in opposite directions may pass one another, hence the provision of two platforms.
