A marble memorial in the shape of a poppy, entitled 'Forever', created by artist Mark Humphrey and gifted Royal Wootton Bassett in honour of the role it played when fallen soldiers were repatriated to Britain. Residents of Royal Wootton Bassett used to line the streets of the town when those serving their country in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts who had made the ultimate sacrifice were brought home. http://www.itv.com/news/west/2015-09-25/royal-wootton-bassett-gifted-forever-poppy/ (Photo taken from the top of a double-decker bus).
