The stone plaque which had previously been laid in the pavement at the end of Warren Street Image has now been placed on the side of the new bridge parapet Image It reads: LANCASHIRE BRIDGE WIDENED 1891 MAYOR ALD.Wm LEES J.P. CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEE ALD. JOHN McCLURE J.P.
