Much of the eastern side of High Street was redeveloped in the 1970s or so, and this is one of the blocks from this era. In the centre of the photo is The Harvest Moon, a Wetherspoon's pub opened in 1994 (see Image). In the background is the entrance to the Walnuts Shopping Centre.
