Janus is a sculpture by Peter Burke which stands beside the path which traverses the Dene from Furnace Bridge up to Spring Park in Bedlington. The sculpture is made from cast Corton Steel and is installed near the site of the old Bedlington Iron Works which operated from 17836 to 1867. Unfortunately the accompanying explanatory notice is badly eroded.
