Disused water treatment works below Tunstall Reservoir

The building is immediately below the dam of Tunstall Reservoir. The works ceased to operate in 2004 and the reservoir itself is now used, apparently, simply to maintain an adequate water flow in the River Wear which is a little over two miles distant from the dam.
