In what was once the courtyard of the Clinton Arms hotel is a collection of small shops and businesses. The Pedimented building with Georgian windows and a decorative door arch is the rear of the original hotel, opening into what was once called Clinton Arms Yard. The building of the two ranking lines of shops in 1977 and 1991 are described in the listing of the original building at https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1278230
