Tullynessle and Forbes Parish Kirk

The original kirk here was dedicated to St Neachtan. This granite building dates from 1876, to a design by J and W Smith of Aberdeen. It incorporated a birdcage belfry dated 1604, shortly before the parishes were united in 1608, but this was later removed and stands on its own in the kirkyard.
