A distant view of the two farms across a field from Whitchurch Canonicorum footpath 88 which descends from Long Lane below Coney's Castle. Higher Abbott's Wootton Farm, the lefthand of the two, is described by Newman and Pevsner as "a complete small house of c 1500". Beyond are the villages of Whitchurch Canonicorum and Morcombelake, and Hardown Hill.
