The sign below the road name includes an extremely rare pre-Worboys arrow. Normally they were part of signs, but usually for parking regulations were (and still are) placed beneath them on their own to show which side of the pole they applied to. The last known one was outside Sadler's Wells Theatre in central London but was removed before I could get there. This is a half width square version instead of the normal oblong to fit on the sign.
