The refurbished Manchester Victoria Station was officially reopened (although it was never actually closed) by Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin on 6 October 2015 (http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/ Manchester Evening News). This display was erected near to the Soldiers' Gate.
