A small, peaceful group of protesters gathered outside the Friends' Meeting House on Mount Street. They were campaigning against the renewal of the Trident missile programme, hoping to influence some of the delegates to the Conservative Party conference which was being held nearby at Image] . The Friends' Meeting House is a grade II listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 388339 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-388339-friends-meeting-house-#.Vhz4GnmFOHs British Listed Buildings), dating from 1828-30.
