The route of the Walkway seems to have been diverted away from the Milton-Lockhart estate here, as OS maps from a few years ago show it following the bank of the Clyde through the estate. It seems that the occupant of the grand new house on the site of the old Milton-Lockhart estate doesn't appreciate walkers passing through, and is claiming the riverside route as part of his curtilage under the access legislation.
