Once the site of Image which was closed, condemned and demolished by the council in 2013 and replaced with temporary housing converted from shipping containers. The 36 containers have been converted into studio flats and are being used to house the homeless, the first arriving at the end of 2013. Containers are used regularly in the Netherlands for temporary accommodation and have the advantage that should the land eventually be redeveloped they can be moved to another site. Located on the junction of New England Street and New England Road with the latter heading off to the right under the railway, though the first bridge in view is now a footbridge having once been the line to the lower goods yard.
