Only moderately busy late morning on a Saturday in early October 2015. No doubt it is much busier in peak season - or if several tourists coaches have arrived at about the same time. Entry prices are displayed nearby. The Castle Ticket (castle and surrounding grounds) costs £24.60 for an adult, £21.60 for a child and £17.40 for a senior citizen. Family tickets (up to 2 adults and 2 children) are £71.40 or £86.40 for up to 2 adults and 3 children. A child is defined (somewhat meanly) as aged 4-11. Under 4 years old free. The more expensive Kingdom Ticket also includes the Castle Dungeon. These tickets range from £21.60 for seniors to £108 for the larger family group. All prices include VAT (Value Added Tax)
