This view looking south-east from the permissive byway up Stony Hill is of Great Bottom, the head of the dry chalk valley than runs down to Sherrington. The road is a private road that continues from the unclassified no through road about 1/2km off camera to the left, to High Grove Cottage that is just in the next grid square.
