This is the start of the restricted byway at the end of the no through road from Sherrington. The path is heading south up Stony Hill, and just further up is a sign to say that the path is in Great Ridge, a ridge of chalk downland between the Wylye and Nadder valleys owned by the Fonthill Estate.
