Opened in 2013 on the northern side of the Rose Walk to replace an older park constructed in 1978. The tradition of chucking unwanted shoes onto a hanging structure seems to be continued, see Image Beyond the skate park is the open northern area of the park used by dog walkers, kickabouts and travelling funfairs.
